A Caring and Sharing Ministry

The Mutual Aid Share Fund is a nonprofit corporation created to provide matching financial assistance (up to $500 annually) to Brethren congregations who are addressing hardships in their church community. This ministry is funded through these sources: membership fees, an annual contribution from the Mutual Aid Association, investment income, and donations.

Possible “financial hardship” situations might include: unexpected loss of job or income, catastrophic loss of property which is not insured, burial expense, and medical expenses not met by health insurance coverage. If a congregation determines that such a need exists, they may submit a “request for application” (below) or contact MAA at 1-800-255-1243 to request an application by mail.

Only churches currently insured through MAA are eligible to apply.
