Listening - At Mutual Aid Agency, we prioritize the person. Our clients are more than just a policy number, and we consider them to be a part of our team and our community. We want to know what they think, how they feel, and their needs. Our goal this year is to conduct client surveys to discover how we can build and expand our services. Fueled by kindness and integrity, we offer up our insurance products to serve, not sell. We are here as a resource, and we care and endeavor to be understanding and are never out of reach. We want to be more in touch with our clients and connect with them more often.
Transforming - At Mutual Aid Agency, our vision is to transform the way people think about insurance: as more than a need, but as a way to live in mutuality, share resources and lend a hand to those who are less fortunate. Our purpose is to serve.
Building - Our desire is to build relationships with our clients, the Faith Community, and our community at home. We want to provide Church congregations, their members, and all who value mutuality the opportunity to support one another in a high-quality mutual insurance program. Networking at Church of the Brethren Annual Conference, Covenant Brethren Conference, and District Conferences will be our avenue to share our mission and our offerings.
Growing - Being educated and knowledgeable is important to us, so we will be continuing our education to be the best we can be for you and for each other. Our entire staff takes regular classes to enrich ourselves. Each of our team members is a licensed insurance agent and we must complete continuing education requirements within our state of residence to maintain our licenses.
Caring - We have a concern for our clients, our community, our world, and for the welfare of all, but we especially care for the welfare of our faith community. We are devoted to sharing one another’s burdens and have a willingness to serve with humility. We aren’t ones to boast about what we do. We are not just here to make a sale. We are here to lend a hand where it is needed.
Adapting - Our world, our community, and our business is changing. Right now, the insurance world is experiencing a hard market. Rates are up, companies are being more selective in what risks they want to insure, and it’s hard on agencies and clients alike. We will adapt. We will learn. We will listen to our clients and adapt to their needs and wants. Each day, we will strive to become a little better and learn something new, whether it be in an online seminar, from a client, or from each other.
Whatever the future of 2024 brings…the expected, the unexpected, and everything in between, we are here to support you. If we have learned anything in past years, it has been that plans can change, and we can change to fit. At a time when things can feel unmanageable, working together is more important than ever. We are thankful for our clients, our friends, and our MAA family. Sharing our goals, our triumphs and our burdens is our mission. By choosing to work with us, you allow us to continue to do good, serve well, and support that which matters. Our goal is, and always has been, to serve others as a vessel for mutual aid and to become the go-to insurance provider for the Church and its members.
